I just got back
from my adventures.
Last night I went
to Treasure Island. I got all my cameras
ready for the moon. I went there early so I could get a good spot for shooting.
I was waiting for
the moon to show up when 2 big buses of tourists came by and parked in front of me. A big mob of people started coming from the
buses with their Smart Phones and small cameras. I thought I was in a zoo. It
was impossible to take pictures! I
packed my gear and left.
The saga
continues….
I got up this
morning to go on my moon chasing adventure again. I left my house at 3:30 a.m. and was driving
for 5 minutes when I spotted police on the road with flashlights. I stopped and asked one of them what was
happening. The officer said that the
electric wires were on the ground and that I had to turn around.
The officer was
very nice and he helped me to turn around on this very tiny street. It was light because the moon
was so big and bright. I was so happy to see the beautiful moon in the sky.
I got on the road
again and started driving. I was on my
way to my moon destination and then I lost the moon! The fog was rolling in and was so thick that I
could hardly see where I was going but I continued because I wanted to see the
other side. 2 hours later I arrived at
my destination.
I couldn’t
believe it. Where I was, was worst than
I could have imagined! It was raining and
foggy. And all the moon chasers were there,
too - waiting for the fog to disappear. All of their cameras were ready to photograph the moon and they were all covered with plastic so they would not get wet.
I waited for 15
minutes. Then I left, drove back home and
end of story. I have two eyes crossed with no sleep and both cameras without
pictures of the moon.
I am going to
take a nap and see when I wake up if I want to chase the moon again. Life is funny and the weather is not on my
side.
Cheers:
