For this shot, ROCKING WAVES, I got the wave coming right at me.  I wanted to get this shot.  I used a slow shutter for the image and while I was shooting, I got hit by the wave.  My boots were full of water and my camera and lens were wet - but I got my shot!

After the timer went off, I jumped out of the water and used a towel that was in my back pack to dry off my lens and camera.  Nothing was damaged, of course - Nikon builds their cameras like tanks.
